David Gilmour predstavlja live album „The Luck and Strange Concerts“ i film „Live At The Circus Maximus“ koji na prekrasan način bilježe njegovu turneju „Luck and Strange“ iz 2024. godine. Nova izdanja dostupna su na Menart Webshopu i u Menart Multimedijalnoj knjižari.
Turneja je pratila Gilmourov peti solo album „Luck and Strange“ koji je osvojio vrh brojnih ljestvica diljem svijeta. Započela je s dva rasprodana koncerta u Brighton Centreu, nakon čega je uslijedilo šest rasprodanih večeri u Circus Maximusu u Rimu, zatim isto toliko u londonskom Royal Albert Hallu, a potom i rasprodani koncerti u Intuit Domeu i Hollywood Bowlu u Los Angelesu. Turneja je završila s pet večeri u Madison Square Gardenu u New Yorku.
Film „Live At The Circus Maximus“ prošlog je mjeseca bio među pet najgledanijih filmskih naslova u kinima. Prikazuje Gilmourov povratak u rimski Circus Maximus na početku turneje „Luck and Strange“ – njegove prve u gotovo deset godina. Dugogodišnji Gilmourov suradnik Gavin Elder režirao je ovaj veličanstveni spektakl snimljen u pozadini drevnih rimskih ruševina. Film je moguće nabaviti na Blu-Rayu s dodatnim materijalom i cjelovitim „The Luck And Strange Concerts“ miksanim u 5.1 i Atmos.
Album „The Luck and Strange Concerts“ na LP-u sadrži 23 pjesme snimljene na odabranim koncertima s turneje. Kombinira Gilmourove solo pjesme s najnovijeg albuma te klasične Pink Floyd himne poput „Sorrow“, „High Hopes“, „Breathe (In The Air)“, „Time“, „Wish You Were Here“ i „Comfortably Numb“.
Zvuk za „The Luck and Strange Concerts“ i „Live At The Circus Maximus“ koproducirali su David Gilmour i Charlie Andrew koji je ujedno bio i koproducent albuma „Luck and Strange“.
